About Chimney Ace
Chimney Ace is a modern chimney sweeping service, sweeping all types of chimney and flue (including Aga & Rayburn) to the highest standard using an exceptionally clean and efficient method with the latest industry approved system. We are fully insured issuing certificates for household insurance purposes with every sweep.		   Why do I need to have my chimney / flue swept?
Chimneys need to allow the free passage of dangerous combustion gasses.  Regular sweeping will remove soot, bird nests, cobwebs and any other blockages.  It also removes creosote, which will help to prevent dangerous chimney fires.  Chimney Sweeping will also increase the efficiency of some appliances.

How often your chimney should be swept?

Smokeless coals At least once a year
Wood At least twice a year
Bituminous coal Twice a year
Oil Once a year
Gas Once a year
